Project Overview:

Designed and implemented a robust data network infrastructure for the New Air Traffic Monitoring Center & Control Tower (ATMCCT) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. This includes the installation of over 29 km of redundant optical fiber network to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity across the airport's critical systems.

Key Features:

Redundant Optical Fiber Network: Successfully designed and installed 29 km of redundant optical fiber, ensuring seamless connectivity between the ATMCCT and various parts of the airport. 90% of the fiber was installed through underground duct banks and HDD ducts, ensuring protection against environmental factors and enhancing durability.

Structured Cabling for Critical Systems: A structured cabling system, utilizing Copper CAT6a cable, was implemented at the control center building and control tower. This system supports data center connectivity, critical devices, and interfaces, ensuring reliable performance in a mission-critical environment.

Surveillance & Access Control Systems: While the design of the surveillance and access control systems was handled by our expert team, installation and commissioning were completed by a third-party vendor under our supervision. These systems were deployed throughout the airport to ensure comprehensive security coverage and regulated access to sensitive areas.

Management Network: Designed and implemented a separate structured cabling system and data network to support management personnel, providing them with essential services like Wi-Fi, wired internet, and PABX communication.

Security Systems: In addition to the surveillance and access control systems, our network design incorporated all necessary provisions to support advanced security infrastructure across the airport, ensuring a secure environment for both staff and passengers.

High-Quality Fiber and Copper Networks: The network was designed to handle both high-bandwidth data traffic and low-latency communication, with Optical Fiber used for long-distance connections and Copper CAT6a for short-distance, high-speed data transmission.

Project Impact:

The ATMCCT and control tower are now equipped with a state-of-the-art, redundant network infrastructure, providing high reliability and operational efficiency for the airport’s air traffic control and management systems.

Overall Enhancements:

Security Systems: Installed and commissioned surveillance, access control, and security systems across all projects.

Client Collaboration: Worked closely with various vendors and clients to meet their specific needs and ensure smooth project execution.
